The genus Oxytropis plants collected from Xinjiang were identified and analyzed. According to the results,Oxytropis melanotricha Bunge var. maryangensis M. M. Gao et P. Yan was a new variety in Xinjiang,Oxytropis merkensis Bunge f. albiflora P. Yan et M. M. Gao, Oxytropis frigida Kar. et Kir. f. albi flora M. M. Gao,Oxytropis biloba Saposhn. f. albi flora M. M. Gao,Oxytropis poncinsii Franch. f. alhi flora M. M. Gao et P. Yan and Oxytropismicrophylla （Pall.） DC. f. albiflora P. Yan et M. M. Gao were new forms in Xinjiang. Oxytropis brevipedunculata ,Oxytropis longialata ,Oxytropis avisoides and Oxytropis ochrocephala var. longibracteata P. C. Li were new records in Xinjiang. The descriptions were also provided for Oxytropis melanotricha var. maryangensis M. M. Gao et P. Yan and pods character of Oxytropis longialata.
