The climate change in Yanchi County of Ningxia was analyzed, based on record of the air temperature and precipitation from 1954 to 2003. The results showed that the air temperature had remarkably ascended in the lastest 50 years, and the annual mean temperature was increased significantly. The increase of temperature in winter was the most sharp, but the temperature of summer was the smallest among all seasons of the year. The variation trend of precipitation was not obvious, only the annual precipitation reduced a little and the decrease of precipitation in autumn was more obvious compared with other seasons. There were four remarkable climate change stages, including cool and wet stage, cool and dry stage, warm and dry stage and warm and wet stage.
