In order to solve the current anti-theft system issues, such as poor reliability, easy to damage, iatse post- tires, false negatives, processing time delay, cumbersome wiring and so on, this paper presents a designof home anti- theft and alarm system based on GPRS, The system uses sensorto monitor the family home environment, when the dangerous situation occurs, the sensor will transmit the pulse signal to microcontroller, in order to process and exe- cute the interrupt program, when the sound and light alarm intimidate robber, at the same time, single-chip control the GPRS model, it will sent the related message to the preset number and call a preset number automatically, the owner will be able to take further security measures, and the message will be processed timely to protect life and property safety, to realize the alarm function of home anti-theft system ultimately.
