英文摘要：

Building the population,economic and land urbanization indicator system of Hubei province,and using the methods of factor analysis,spatial statistics model and system coupling degree model are applied to examine the urbanization development, in terms of spatial differences, spatial patterns and coupling coordination relationship. The results indicates that： 1） Land urbanization is in a high level,the quality of economic urbanization is in a low level,and the quality of population urbanization needs to be further improve.2） The quality of the ＂population-economy-land＂urbanization presents regional imbalance,as well as not synchronous development of spatial pattern of urbanization. 3） The coupling degree in counties of Hubei is high overall,but unbalanced spatially. The regions in the subsystem of urbanization with high system coupling and coupling coordination degree,are gathered in the places,where are the economically developed,industrial agglomeration and strong spatial linkage effect,such as Wuhan metropolitan area,Yi-Jing-Jing areas and Xiang-Shi-Sui areas. Focusing on the urbanization in such dimensions under the background of new urbanization,which is helpful to enhance the understanding of the problems during the urbanization process,and provides a guide way for its healthy development.
