The motif of the ethical thought of Chun Qiu Gu Liang Zhuan is hierarchical system on the basis of the three cardinal guides which include ruler guiding subject,father guiding son and husband guiding wife.Chun Qiu Gu Liang Zhuan asks women to follow their fathers when they are single,to follow their husbands when they are married,to follow their sons when their husbands are dead.It adovcates loyalty and filial piety and values justice above material gains.
