He has been a faculty member of telecommunications engineering at Xidian University since 1985, where he is currently a Professor and Director of State Key Laboratory of Integrated Service Networks. Prof. I1 is a Senior Me- mber of IEEE. He was a visiting Professor to the De- partment of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University, USA, from 2002-2003. He was a member of Personal Communication Networks (PCN) specialist group for China 863 Communication High Technology Program during 1993-1994 and again in 1999-2000. He also served as the General Vice Chair for COMSOCs Chinacom 2009. He was awarded as Distinguished Young Researcher and Changjiang Sc- holar from Ministry of Science and Technology, China. His major research interests include wireless commu- nication theory, cognitive radio and signal processing. LI Hongyan, received her M.S. degrees in control eng- ineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China in 1991 and her Ph,D. degree in signal and information proc- essing from Xidian University, China in 2000. She is currently a Professor in the State Key Laboratory of Integrated Service Networks, Xidian University.
