Mass customization is the process in which the various production modes are used synthetically. Different production modes may be used in the different types in the same product or different parts in the same product. There are the most suitable production modes only and there are not the best production modes. In this paper, the me chanical products material cost and manufacture cost are in tegrated and optimized, and their mathematical model and algorithm are researched. The new method can be used for en terprises to select suitable production modes.
