为探查辣椒形态可塑性和持水力与其耐旱性之间的关系,以弄口早椒和正椒13号为材料,研究干旱胁迫对2种辣椒品种植株形态可塑性与器官持水力的影响。结果表明:干旱处理抑制了2种辣椒的生长,但对弄口早椒的抑制作用更大;干旱促进了同化产物向根系的优先分配,也促进了叶厚和根长的增加,但减少了辣椒叶面积和叶脉间距,这可能是辣椒植株形态对干旱胁迫所产生的适应性反应;干旱胁迫对正椒13号的影响大于弄口早椒,由此计算得出正椒13号形态可塑性明显高于弄口早椒;对叶片和茎持水力的测定表明干旱处理后正椒13号叶片和茎的持水力明显高于弄口早椒。由此推测正椒13号具有较高的形态可塑性和持水力可能是其较弄口早椒更耐旱的原因。
To understand the relationship between morphological plasticity and water retention of pepper and drought tolerance, the effects of drought on morphological plasticity and water retention in two pepper (Capsicum annuum L. ) cultivars were studied. The results showed drought inhibited the growth of plant in Longkouzaojiao more than that in Zhengjiao No. 13. Relative to shoot, drought promoted dry matter distribution in root. Drought also increased leaf thickness and root length, but decreased leaf area and space between veins, suggesting that pepper can be responded by morphological acclimation to drought. After drought stress, Morphological plasticity and water retention in Zhengjiao No. 13 also were more than that in Longkouzaojiao. These results suggested that higher drought tolerance of pepper was associated with their high morphological plasticity and water retention under drought stress.
