资源型产业是西部地区重要的支柱产业。1994--2005年，西部地区资源型产业结构变动程度较大，并与其产出增长较为协调；而且其产业内部结构升级明显，加工日益高度化。同时．虽然西部地区与东中部地区资源型产业结构相似度呈现上升趋势，但其专业化程度和产业聚集度不断提高。
英文摘要：
Resource-type industry is the pillar industry in west China. During 1994-2005, structural change extent of western resource-type industry is big and is relatively in consistency with its output, furthermore, its inner industrial structure upgrading is obvious and its processing degree is becoming higher. Although similarity degree of resource-type industrial structure between the west, the east and middle areas is upgrading but its specialization and industrial agglomeration degree is increasing.
