Three novel calix[4]arene derivatives bearing four coumarin units in 1,3-alternate conformation were prepared from p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene by etherification,ipso-nitration,reduction,condensation reaction.The structures were characterized by 1H NMR,13C NMR,IR and MS.
