The reaction of carbon dioxide reforming of methane to syngas received significant attention in recent years. The progress of study on carbon dioxide reforming of methane to synthesis gas was reviewed. The research status on active metal component, support, additives and preparation method of catalysts were introduced, and the influence of them on catalyst activity and stability was described as well. It was also discussed and analyzed the formation and removal of catalyst carbon deposition and the mechanism of reforming reaction.
