Objective： To optimize the extracting technology of active ingredients. Methods： The main influencing factors of extraction effect included the quantity of chloroform and extraction time and the extraction conditions were evaluated by the contents of niticline chloride, ethoxychelerythrine and L-sesamin. The optimal extraction of active ingredients was selected by central composite design-response surface methodology. Results：The optimal conditions consisted of extraction three times, 120 rain each time with sixty fold of chloroform. Conclusion：It is simple, convenient and high predictive to optimize the extraction craft of active ingredients by central composite design-response surface methodology.
