The present research situation of the crystal structure, scintillation performance, scintillation mechanism and crystal growth of LuAP： Ce is reviewed in this paper. The research progress in scintillation performance and crystal growth of LuAP： Ce was laid an emphasis on. Then the future research direction of LuAP： Ce crystal was proposed after the present some problems were analyzed according to the literatures about the research of this crystal.
