In a PBS of pH 7.6,enhancement of intensity of resonance scattering due to specific binding to form immune complex between goat anti-human pre-albumin and pre-albumin was observed.The magnitude of increase in resonance scattering intensity(ΔI) was found to keep linear relationship with the mass concentration of pre-albumin in the range of 0.067-2.82 mg·L^-1 when measured at 470 nm(the maximum scattering wavelength of the reaction system).Detection limit(3S/N) of the method was found to be 0.028 mg·L^-1.In its application to determination of human serum pre-albumin,values of RSD′s(n=6) found were in the range of 1.15%-3.00%.
