基于1EEE802.15.4标准建立了自动请求重传(ARQ)和前向纠错(FEC)两种差错控制技术的能量效率模型,分析了各参数对两种技术能量效率的影响,得到了ARQ技术最优负载长度和FEC技术最优纠错码参数,进而提出了一种根据无线链路接收信号强度自适应选择使用ARQ或FEC的差错控制方案,以适应无线传感器网络中无线链路质量差异性和动态变化的需求。仿真结果表明,在能量效率和纠错性能方面,该自适应差错控制方案比单纯的ARQ或者FEC技术整体上更优。给出的分析和仿真结果对基于IEEE802.15.4标准的协议的开发具有一定指导意义。
The energy efficiency models for automatic repeat request (ARQ) and forward error correction (FEC) were presented based on the IEEE802.15.4 standard. By analyzing the impacts of various parameters on the energy efficiency of the two techniques, the optimal ARQ load length and optimal FEC parameters were obtained. Then, a new adaptive error control scheme was proposed, which can adaptively use ARQ or FEC according to the received signal strength in order to adapt to unstable time varying wireless links in a wireless sensor network. The simulation results show that the performance of this scheme outperforms the individual ARQ or FEC technique in terms of energy efficiency and error-correcting capabihty. The analysis and simulation results presented in this paper are useful for further development of IEEE802.15.4-compatible protocols.
