Yiyang to Yuanjiang high-grade highway lies in alluvial plain of Dongting Lake, and its foundation is mainly soft soil foundation. The foundation stability is key point of projects quality, which can influence service life of the high-grade highway. Authors introduce characteristics, functions, design and construction technologies of inorganic binder gravel base in soft soil foundation of high-grade highway. It is commercial and feasible that inorganic binder gravel base used in soft soil foundation, and the reinforced foundation can service wed.
