The 6He secondary beams with the energy of 26, 32 and 38 MeV were produced via the 2 H(7Li, 6 He)3 He reaction on the secondary beam facility at the HI-13 tandem accelerator, Beijing. The intensity of the collimated 6He beam with a purity of 99% is about 900 s 1. The angular distribution of 2H(6 He,^7TLi)n reaction can be measured using this secondary ^6He beam in inverse kinematics, and the astrophysical S- factor and rate of the ^6He(p,γ)^7Li reaction can be derived.
