Based on quaternion wavelet transform（QWT） and singular value decomposition（SVD）, a digital image watermarking algorithm is proposed. The original image is transformed by QWT and SVD and the watermarking image is processed by Arnold transform and SVD. Then the watermarking image processed is embedded into the original image decomposed. Experimental results show that the proposed watermarking algorithm has good robustness for the attacks of adding Gaussian noises, geometric clipping, JPEG compression and filtering.
