为满足功能梯度材料(FGM)零件稳定、高效直接成形的需要,研究开发了一种基于表面梯度源的FGM零件建模方法,支持材料成分等值曲面分层快速成形.首先采用基于分层切片原理的体素化算法将STL网格模型转化为体素模型.然后设定模型表面轮廓为梯度源,结合材料分布函数,描述零件材料分布信息,得到材料成分的体数据集.最后运用等值面抽取技术从材料体数据集中得到等材料成分的曲面,实现FGM零件的曲面分层,为后续路径规划提供数据支持.
To improve the speed of manufacturing and stability of part, a functionally graded material (FGM) modeling approach was presented to rapidly layered manufacture the metal part based on isocomposition surface. The vowelizing algorithm based on the principle of layering slicing was applied to transfer stereo lithography (STL) model into voxel model. Then voxel data set with material composition was calculated by setting the surface of geometric model as grading source and material composition function as the material control object. Finally, Marching Cubes (MC) algorithm was introduced to evaluate iso-composition 3D free surface, which is essential data support to path planning for FGM part manufacturing.
