A survey about university students awareness of telecommunication and internet fraud reveals the seriousness of personal information disclosure as a result of their low awareness of information protection. As inexperienced students, they are likely to be cajoled. On the other hand, the difficulty in eliminating internet frauds can also be attributed to the loss of education by universities. This indicates that a university should add instructions in risk prevention of telecommunication and interuet fraud to routine education and management of the students, launch special related programs, reinforce their awareness of personal information protection and self-prevention and organize special seminars on the control of such risks.
