Core competitiveness is widely concerned by vocational colleges because it is unique, valuable, systematic, rare and developmental. Creating the core competitiveness is indispensable for the existence and development of vocational colleges, and is vital for the transfer of our people from the population pressure to human resources. Besides, the challenge of education globalization calls for core competitiveness. Through the construction of model colleges, model colleges have greatly upgraded their hardware, clarified their management character, improved their management efficiency and created a group of brand name schools. The improvement of core competitveness of model colleges will lead China＇s vocational education into a new era.
