Database principle course is a practical course, its practice teaching links including database experiments and course design are very important. According to the teaching situation of these two practice teaching links, ladder experimental teaching system and course design mode based on engineering practice are proposed, and improving experimental teaching methods, means and evaluation modes are also discussed. The practice proves that it helps to improve students＇ comprehensive ability.
