As the world population continues to age,Alzheimer＇s disease has become one of the major diseases that threatens the health of the elderly population. It is very important to establish a reliable animal model of Alzheimer＇s disease to clarify the disease etiology,pathogenesis and promote drug development. In this article we will review the most widely used and the most in-depth studied transgenic mouse models with their pathological characteristics and behavior changes,and their application in researches of Alzheimer＇s disease.
