英文摘要：

With explanations to the connation, princiles, indicators and method of effectiveness appraisal of urban agglomeration planning, this paper sets up appraisal indicators system and AHP to evaluate the effectiveness of the fourth urban planning of Jiangxi Province. The results show that AHP helps evaluate urban agglomeration planning and it can not only make the complex planning system to be quantitatively compared, but also has characteristics of clear ideas, simple application, systemic characteristics and so on. There are, however, some flaws in AHP, so it must be improved with evaluation indicators and targets if the model is applied.
