A new layered zinc phosphate,Zn2（H2PO4）3（HPO4）2·3C8H12N was ionothermally prepared using 1-propyl pyridinium bromide as solvent and template.The results of single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveal that this complex crystallizes in the orthorhombic system,space group Pca21,with the parameters of a=2.257 8（3） nm,b=0.965 6（13） nm,c=1.829 8（2） nm,V=3.989 2（9） nm3,Z=4.
