The Joint Congress of the 6th Biennial Congress of the Asian-Pacific Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association （A-PHPBA 2017） was held from 7th to 10th June 2017 in Yokohama, Japan. Thousands of well-known specialists and scholars from the Asia-Pacific region were invited for the great event. The congress aimed to explore the latest achievements of diagnosis and treatment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases from both the clinical and basic perspective. Minimally invasive and neoadjuvant therapies of hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, new progress of liver transplantation, in particular, caught the eyes.
