本文对协流式微通道内乳化过程进行了可视化实验研究,采用高速动态摄像装置观测了协流式微通道中离散相(油)在连续相(水)中的乳化过程,得到了滴式、窄喷式、宽喷式三种典型流型。研究表明,乳液中液滴的尺寸和乳化模式随连续相和分散相的流量变化;滴式模式下所产生的液滴单分散性好,但是喷式模式下生成的液滴单分散性较差;分散相流量过大将形成喷射流。
Emulsification processes in co-flowing microchannel are experimentally investigated with drop formation recorded by a microscope combined with a high-speed video camera. Three distinct regimes of drop formation are observed: dripping, narrowing jetting and widening jetting. The results indicate that drop size and drop formation regimes are influenced by the variation of both flow rates of dispersed phase and continuous phase. The dripping regime, rather than jetting regimes, is a favorable way to produce monodisperse emulsions. In addition, the jetting regime is observed under the condition of excessive flow rate of continuous phase.
