Based on the knee ligament model in total human model for safety (THUMS), with material parameters and element properties modified, and using the newer experimental data of biomechanics in recent years, the biofidelities of ligament models under different strain rates are validated one by one. The results indicate that the relation curves of tension force vs. displacement of ACL, PCL, MCL and LCL knee ligaments in different strain dates agree well with experiment data, meaning that the models have good biofidelity and can accurately simulate the injury and tension response of ligaments.
