Developing low-carbon economy is the only way for Guangxi to realize comprehensive,balanced and sustainable development.For Beibu Gulf Economic Zone,as the new economic growth pole of Guangxi and even of the country,its selection for low-carbon development paths is especially important.The four paths,i.e.＇Strengthening the government＇s planning,guidance and supervision＇,＇Creating a low-carbon economic chain integrating production,service and consumption into a whole＇,＇Carrying out international cooperation based on CDM mechanism＇,and ＇Giving full play to the radiation effect of city low-carbon development＇,are feasible for the low-carbon development based on the actual situation of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone,which may play a positive role in promoting the development of Guangxi low-carbon economy.
