This paper measure the changes of landless farmer＇s welfare under different compensation models through capability theory and quasi-natural experiment with the fuzzy evaluation method.The empirical results show that landless farmer＇s welfare improves a little,but the overall level of welfare is still low.Furthermore,although the model of land for social security is worse than the model of land for currency in the matter of income,the former can make farmer get a higher level of welfare as it provides better social security.
