And the secretion and expression of vaspin are influenced by multiple factors. Vaspin has a relationship with obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus and atherosclerosis(As). It has been assumed that vaspin palys an important role in the pathogenesis of insulin-sensitizing and glucose intolerance and anti-vascular inflammation. The entire understanding the action mechanism of vaspin might enable the development of novel therapeutic targets of atherosclerosis.
