对贵州红黏土的胀缩性与水敏性及相关性进行了室内试验研究.红黏土具有较高的胶粒含量与较大的比表面积,致使土中的水主要以可回复性的结合水存在,较一般的黏性土有更强的水敏性.膨胀试验结果的分析表明在相同的初始干密度下试样的持水能力接近,与初始含水率无关;基质吸力的存在有助于红黏土膨胀性的发挥,同时也降低土团粒的收缩效能;胀缩过程具有时效性,受水敏性影响的胀缩变形初期阶段发展迅速,之后随时间衰弱;荷载的施加削弱了红黏土的膨胀性能,中等荷载下表现出收缩现象.本研究表明红黏土的胀缩性是与其水敏性相关的,高含水率红黏土以收缩为特征,膨胀不明显,这是与工程实践相吻合的.
It is important for red clay to study the swelling-shrinkage characteristics, water-sensitive and their relevance. Laboratory tests were conducted on compacted specimens with different initial water contents. There were higher content of colloid and bigger specific surface in red clay and absorbed water, which was recoverable, it was main form in pore of red clay, so red clay was more sensitive than other clay. The results of swelling tests showed that it is close for red clay specimens, with same initial dry density, of capacity to holding water, regardless of the initial water content. The matrix suction helps to increase samples' expansibility and reduce its' shrinkage. The swelling-shrinkage properties of red clay are timeliness. Affected by the watersensitive properties, the changes of swelling or shrinkage are obvious and rapid at the preliminary stage, and then fall into a decline. The swelling capability of samples in loading expansion ratio test is lower than that in free expansion ratio test. And the sample shrunk in middle loading expansion ratio test. Results of tests indicated that the swelling property is more notable than shrinkage in the swelling-shrinkage property of red clay, which is identical with the actual projects.
