Registration and coordinate transformation of 3D point cloud data are keys about guaranteeing huge building reconstruction precision. Scan Station2 scanner was used to scan huge building and register scanning data. The source of error was analyzed that about matching plane targets and feature points,and an optimized approach of matching feature points was put farward and an optimized strategy of geodetic coordinate transformation was realized,and instances were run to verify effectiveness and superiority of these strategies.
