Geomagnetism has been widely applied in geoseienee, aerospace, communications , seismologic prediction and space weather forecasting,etc. Since the geomagnetic applications are based on the geomagnetic survey,the technologies and research outlines of the geomagnetism,at present , are overviewed and analysed. The developing trend of the applications is also expected.
