The neutral point clamped three-level converter for wind turbines was described in detail, aiming at analyzing the topology of the specific applications in the wind power system, the main circuit structure, algorithms and other key issues. The wind power converter platform was completed for test, and master-slave processor DSP-FPGA-based control platform for the key algorithm was verified. The effect of different modulation algorithm on the output of the converter was compared finally.
