The book mainly consists of four parts, which focus on the key issues in large - scale assessment such as ＂assessment design, development, and delivery＂, ＂assessing diverse populations＂, ＂scoring, score reporting, and use of scores＂, and ＂psychometric modeling and statistical analysis＂. This paper introduces the main contents of the book and points out that relevant concepts and methods put forward in the book are insightful to the innovation of high school achievement test in china.
