Under the guidance of the theory on constructivism and the exploratory teaching theory, teaching content based on the progressive type investigations on ＂the neutralization reaction of acid and alkali＂ has been designed. This kind of teaching design is aimed at leading the students to design their progressive type of inquiry experiment and stimulate their thinking training, which may be conducive to the construction of the core chemistry knowledge on ＂the neutralization reaction of acid and alkali＂. As a result, we want to make the students to grasp the methods of scientific inquiry, to cultivate their ability to solve problems and to improve their scientific literacy.
