The trapezoidal integration method is employed to obtain a new analytical solution of distribu- tion of oval current-excited magnetic field in three-dimensional space. The magnetic field at the core and central axis of the oval current is analyzed according to the analytical solution, the numerical relationship of three components of the magnetic field to each other is found, the magnitude, direction and spatial dis- tribution of the magnetic field are described vividly, and the variation of iso-intensity zone of axial magnet- ic field of oval current is analyzed quantitatively, so that a conclusion is obtained that a maximal iso-intensity zone can be obtained when two oval solenoids are disposed from each other at a distance of the square root of the product of major and minor axes of the ellipse.
