目的：PACS是实现数字化医学影像存档与通讯的重要手段。近年随着数字医院系统在国内外的建设，规模由小型向大中型发展，以及医学信息区域化实施，选择一种功能强大、性能稳定、易于管理的数据库，支持PACS系统的构建已是实际之所需。方法：作者采用Oracle为后台数据库、visual C＋＋6．0开发工具，设计了以Oracle为支撑的DICOM医学图像管理系统，并对涉及的核心关键技术进行了研究，完成了检索应用程序开发。结果：该系统经在局域网运行，显示出明显的优势，证明其技术和方法有效可行。结论：此研究性设计为PACS系统进一步全面开发建立了基础，同时对医院信息化建设有着重要意义。
英文摘要：
Purpose： Picture Archiving and Communication System （PACS） is an important way to realize digital medical images communication. Currently as the digital hospital system develops, choosing a database with stronger function, better stability and easier management is necessary. Methods： A medical images management system with the database of Oracle was designed, some key technologies were introduced and a query application was realized using visual C＋＋6.0 development tools. Results： Through working in the local area network, the system displayed obvious advantage, which proved above methods available. Conclusions： The research work builds up foundation for further development of PACS. At the same time, it is important for hospital communication construction.
