C--N and C--O coupling reaction is a significant procedure in organic synthesis and copper-catalyzed coupling reaction is one of the predominant methods. Copper has advantages of low-toxicity, cheap price and gent reaction conditions comparing to other transition metals such as palladium. In this review, the recent progress in copper-catalyzed C--N and C- O coupling reactions is reviewed according to the structure categories of comlaounds.
