Aim To survey and study the satisfaction of residents about living environment in Binchang Coal Mine, and to help improving the living environment there. Methods Selecting sample space, making questionnaire and analysis, which is determining the survey indexes, using principal component analysis and the comprehensive eval- uation. Results The natural environment near the Power Station is the best, and that service level of the Xidajie （West Street）is the best, and that Xidajie gets the highest compositive scores. In the meantime, some counter measures are put forward. Conclusion The principal component analysis provides a quantitative analysis about the satisfaction of residents on the living environment in Bin Xian County, revealing the intrinsic link between community living environment satisfaction and community living environment. The natural environment and the service do not developin balance.
