英文摘要：
Multimodality teaching mode has gradually become the development trend of college English teaching with the rapid development of network- and computer-assisted teaching technology. By conducting experiments1 we investigated the effects of different listening modalities upon listening compreh- ension of college students. The results showed that multimodality listening teaching can greatly improve students＇listening comprehension and lexical acquisition, especially when visual information matches audio information. In addition. ProPer use of subtitles is conducive to improving listening comorehension.
