The paper makes an analysis of relevant literature of part of overseas museum tourism. The authors find that merging of museum and tourism is the trend of social development. They promote with each other, bring about new developing opportunities, thus promoting the development of the study of museum tourism. Among the research, both museum tourists＇ behavior and the impact of museum tourism are important contents. China is rich in museum resources and enjoys excellent material basis for carrying out museum tourist activities. In the light of vigorous development of China＇s museum industry, we should grasp opportunities, innovate management concept and mechanism, combine development with protection and achieve education through tourist activities.
