A series of new five-ring-fused dithiophene-dione derivatives were successfully synthesized by Suzuki coupling reaction,saponification,acylation,intramolecular Friedel-Crafts cyclization from sodium 5-alkylthiophen-2-yl boronate.The structures were characterized by NMR,IR,MS and elemental analysis.
