The environmental issue is one of the most outstanding problems emerging in the process of agriculture modemization in China. To promote new agricultural modernization in China, following countermeasures are suggested. New agricultural modernization in China should be considered under agricultural ecological framework which can provide one possible holistic and organic analysis to advance new agricultural modernization. Another suggestion is that production side and consumption side should be promoted coordinately in new agricultural modernization. Furthermore, it is necessary to promote the localization of agricultural production for preventing regional imbalance in new agricultural modernization.
