By downloading, trying and testing the frequent used medical applications of Apple App Store in the Chinese market,the trend and method of medical application research and development are summarized. Taking the APPs cumulated download amount of up to 10000 as the default frequent used medical applications, using i Pad 2 as a test platform, the function modules of each application are compared in a list way. Total 6 applications are selected to test, which include 17 modules. The test results show that all the applications have achieved the basic medical demands and information demands, but there are the problems of interrogation fuzzy, patient privacy protection, and the inability to ensure the qualification of doctor, and so on.
