The synthesis and property of rosin series cationic,anionic,nonionic and amphoteric surfactants were reviewed,the appli-cation of rosin series surfactants in industry, agriculture and daily chemical industry was discussed. Suggestions and prospects are presented in future research and development trend of new rosin surfactants combing with application status of rosin series surfac-tant.
