Although nanomaterials applied in cement-based materials is still in its infancy, it has received a lot of positive effects. The workability, mechanical properties, durability performance, new function of cement-based materials with nanomaterials are briefly introduced. Meanwhile, the mechanism of nanoparticles on structure and performance improvement is discussed.
