太阳常数与太阳黑子数关系的交叉小波分析

利用1976~2006年间的太阳常数观测资料和小波方法分析了太阳常数的演变规律及其与太阳黑子数的关系.连续小波分析结果表明,太阳常数具有多尺度的演变特征.在低频部分,太阳常数与太阳黑子数的变化大体一致,具有显著和稳定的8~11.4年的振荡周期;在高频部分,无论是太阳常数,还是太阳黑子数,仅在太阳周的峰值时期才表现出2-6月的间歇性显著振荡周期.交叉小波分析结果表明,太阳黑子数与太阳常数在8~11.4年的频段上具有显著的共振周期,且在此频段上太阳黑子数的变化略超前于太阳常数变化约2个月.在此时间尺度上,太阳黑子数的变化是导致太阳常数周期性变化的主要原因之一.在2-6月的频段,太阳黑子数与太阳常数仅在太阳周的峰值期才存在显著的共振周期,但二者的位相关系不稳定.在考虑太阳黑子数与太阳常数位相关系的条件下,建立太阳常数的重建模型并进行了检验;最后重建了1878~1975年逐月的太阳常数时间序列.

Using observational data of total solar irradiance (TSI) from 1976 to 2006, the evolution of total solar irradiance and the relationship between TSI and sunspot number (SSN) have been analyzed with the wavelet technique. The results of continuous wavelet transform indicate that the TSI has a significant and steady period from 8 to 11.4 a, and the SSN also has the same low frequency oscillation in the low frequency band. In the high frequency band, the TSl and SSN present a significant oscillation period from 2 to 6 months, but only around the activity epoch of solar cycles. The results of cross wavelet transform indicate that there is significant in-phase resonance oscillation between the TSI and SSN in 8--11.4 a band in which the variation of SSN occurs about 2 months before that of the TSI. In 8--11.4 a scale the variation of the SSN is one of dominant reasons for the variation of the TSh The TSI and SSN also have relatively significant intermittent resonance periodicity from 2 to 6 months during solar activity epoch, but their phase relationship is not steady. A statistical reconstruction model considering the phase relationship between the TSl and SSN is developed and tested. A reliable monthly TSI series from 1878 to 1975 is finally reconstructed.
