To observe and measure the Cardiac anatomic characteristic of Wuzhishan miniature pig inbred-line, twenty individuals with different month-age were anatomized, and obtained the related anatomic parameters. This study showed that the cardiac gross morphology, the chambers division of heart and cardiac internal structure in the 2 and 4 months Wuzhishan miniature pig were the same, and in accord with that of human, but the cardiac size and some anatomic parameters were markedly different from that of adult, the diameter of blood vessel in the cardiac basal part were different from that of other local pig breeds and human. The anatomic study on the heart provided the basic data for the utilization of the Wuzhishan miniature pig inbred-line for comparative medicine and clinical xenotransplantation.
